When Raegan Hall, owner of Kelowna’s infamous local clothing store Blonde, contacted me about a brand refresh it would be an understatement to say I was excited. Blonde was going to turn 10 years old in 2014 and while the type of the logo felt as fresh as it did the day it was created, some other elements felt a little dated and in need of a little love.
Starting with updating the logo, we established both the store’s location and years in service as well as adding some playful elements to reflect the experience created in-store. Faked Potatoes then went to work coming up with all kinds of patterns and, in discussion with Raegan, nailed down two patterns that would be placed on Business Cards, Hang Tags, and reusable bags around the store, bringing a sense of cohesiveness to the brand.
